Category 5e cable meets ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 Category 5e and ISO 11801 Class D channel standards. The conductors are 24 AWG copper insulated with polyethylene polymer. The copper conductors are twisted in pairs and all four pairs are covered by a flame-retardant PVC (CM) jacket.
